1Origin of Life
Origin of life: a taught from-nonliving-to-living leftover (Miller if named). Origin is a start-story at school-size, not a lab-recipe you repeat. One honest experiment-look is enough.
A how-to “make life” as the heading is the wrong size.
Figure. Miller–Urey is a closed job chain: reducing gases plus water vapour meet a spark, the mix is cooled, and amino acids collect in the trap. The figure is a schematic of those jobs — not glassware, and not a claim that a cell appeared.

2Evolution of Life Forms — A Theory
Evolution of life forms — a theory: descent with change as taught. A theory here is a tested story, not a guess-word. One Darwin-size sentence is enough — variation and selection if named.
A ladder “better animals” as the whole theory is a miss.
Figure. Two theories, two arrows. Lamarck sends a used trait straight into the next generation. Darwin keeps variation first, then lets the environment keep some forms. The modern school chapter follows the right-hand chain.

3What are the Evidences for Evolution?
Evidences: fossils, homologues, molecular looks as taught. Evidence is a look that forced the theory, not a poster of “old bones”. One fossil and one homologue is enough.
A single pretty bone as “all of evolution” is a skip.
Figure. The same four-segment plan — upper bone, lower pair, wrist, digits — is reused in a human arm, a whale flipper and a bat wing. Same origin, different jobs: that is homology, and it is the school evidence for common ancestry. Spans are schematic, not to scale.

4What is Adaptive Radiation?
Adaptive radiation: one start, many jobs as taught — Darwin’s finches if named. Radiation is a split-into-jobs, not a glow. One island-case is enough.
A single species labelled radiation because it “adapted” is a miss.
Figure. One ancestral stock meets several empty jobs on one island. Each descendant keeps the shared start and specialises a different beak job. That fan from one origin is adaptive radiation — Darwin's finches are the school case, drawn here as jobs rather than species portraits.

5Biological Evolution
Biological evolution: change of a population’s looks over generations as taught. Evolution is a population-word, not one animal’s lifetime. One sentence is enough.
A giraffe stretching as “evolution in one life” is the leftover this heading refuses.
Figure. Biological evolution in this chapter is descent with modification under selection: a mixed population, a filter, and a next generation that is no longer the same mix. The filter is the environment, not a wish.

6Mechanism of Evolution
Mechanism: variation, then selection as taught; mutation as a source if named. Mechanism is the how, not a second fossil. One variation-then-select sentence is enough.
Selection creating variation from nothing is a miss.
Figure. Hardy–Weinberg names the still pond. Each spoke is a way the pond is stirred: mutation, migration, selection, drift, or non-random mating. Any one spoke is already evolution in the population-genetics sense.

7Hardy-Weinberg Principle
Hardy–Weinberg: p^2+2pq+q^2=1 as taught when the gates sit (no select, no migrate, …). H–W is a no-change null, not “evolution always”. One two-allele write is enough.
Using p+q=1 as the leftover genotype write is a skip of the squares.
Figure. The school square is just random pairing of allele p with allele q. The two mixed cells are the same heterozygote, so they add as 2pq. The three genotype shares plus the allele line p+q=1 are one statement, not two.

8A Brief Account of Evolution
A brief account: a taught time-map (ages, a named fossil-group) as framed. Brief means a few pegs, not a research monograph. One honest peg-list is enough.
A species-dump is the wrong size.
Figure. The chapter's brief account is an order of first appearances, not a clock drawn to scale. Invertebrates sit before jawless fish, then amphibians, reptiles, mammals, and Homo. Box widths are equal on purpose: the figure teaches sequence, not duration.
